流行というのは不思議なもので、時代遅れだと思っていたものが、一回りして「かっこいい」ものになったりする。ぼくが中学生の頃、「マジソン・スクエア・ガーデン」と書かれたスポーツバッグが大流行して、みんな持っていたのだけれども、そのうち、ダサくなって持たなくなった。
