アメリカ音楽は、基本的にどのラジオ局でかかるか、で棲みわけられる。ロビン・シックなんて真っ白だけど、基本的にアーバン系のラジオでかかるからコンサートの客席は圧倒的に黒人の人が多いし、大人気。肌色が関係ない世界。

ちなみにヒップホップは「黒人が＜多い＞カルチャー」という意味で私も「ブラック・カルチャー」と呼ぶけど、「黒人だけのカルチャー」だったことは1日もないよ。最初はブラックとラティーノ、間髪入れずに白人（ユダヤ系のビースティーだけど）が参入して裾野を広げた、みんなのカルチャー。

日本のメディア、Cultural Appropriationをなんで「文化の盗用」って訳すんだろう？ Appropriationは割り当てという意味で、「盗用」ほど強いニュアンスはないのに。ほかの民族、人種の文化をリスペクトなしでパクるのはダサいけれど「盗み」ではないし、なんか不毛。
