長男（小学校５年生）が、社会科の先生を試した。「関が原の戦いの、西軍の総大将は誰か？」と。先生は「石田三成」と答えた。長男は「毛利輝元だよ」と言った。長男が図書館へ行くと、先生が丁度、それをお調べになっているところだった。先生は「本当だね」と仰ったそうだ。その先生は立派なひとだ。
