ヒカオケのすごいところは採譜が原曲に限りなく近かったり謎言語もしっかり聞き取って採用してたりしたから原曲を聞いたときに違和感がまったくないことよね

I started this thread because I wanted all FF14 players to see how far we’ve came in the past few years and how talented the community is.

Not to mention how much love the players put into events like this.

Unfortunately I was not in Japan nor did I win the raffle ticket for it (hahah) but based on the tweets around the orchestra was a huge success.
The dev team also attended! (See Soken’s tweet a couple of days ago)

You can tell that the organizers put a lot of effort into this event.
Each performer (be it choir or musicians) have their own “job stone”!

As mentioned earlier 94% performers are FF14 players just like you and I.

From what I’ve read the planning of the event took roughly a year-from getting permission from SE, gathering performers to practices.

Some of the members even commuted ways for practice!
