それに悪いことばかりではなく
・食事前の手洗いの習慣化
・喋ってばかりで食べ切れない子の減少
・（おかわり禁止のため）食事前に全てを分けきる等の対応→早食いの子だけが「多く食べる現象」の減少
と良い面もあります。
時間制限がある場合は、「嫌いな物を残せる」というメリット？も
