Passing city-wide zoning, parking, and street reforms can take years, but they start with people just like you spreading awareness of issues and excitement around what’s possible. Small neighborhood experiments can get public officials and residents on board with broader change.

Changing any neighborhood takes time. It starts with little experiments to win over local stakeholders like business owners, public officials, and residents. Figure out what your community needs, whether it's murals, stringed lights, street trees, or new places to sit and gather!

Form a local Strong Towns group or find one near you! You can propose small projects to your city council like painting temporary bike lanes and crosswalks, installing traffic bump-outs and pop-up shops, or hosting events to show residents what's possible
