数日前、滝上町から北見経由で屈斜路湖に向かう途中で、相内という土地を通った。その街の中心部にある病院の看板に「あいのない診療所」とあった。相内=あいのない、であることを理解するのに数十秒かかった。なので私はなんでも平仮名で表記するのは抵抗があるのだ。
