コロナだけを気にしているのではなくて、コロナにかかった患者さんも、事故にあってしまった人も、他の急性疾患も、自殺企図の人も運ばれてくる。運ばれてくるその前にそれが起きないように社会に予防啓発もする。そういう医師たちの言葉を自殺者は気にしないと思うのはなぜなんだろう。

公衆衛生の観点を持たずに、目の前の患者さんだけ救えばオーケーと思っているなら、究極すべての受け入れを止めてしまえばいい。他の命なんて一向に気にかけなければそれでオーケー。でも医療崩壊を気にするのはなぜなのかって視点がない人に噛みつかれてキレない先生がすごい。

毎日がギリギリの生活だと6個で500円のリンゴよりも1個100円のリンゴを選ばざるを得なくなります。また長時間労働ゆえに自炊する余裕がなく惣菜や弁当に頼らざるを得ない場合もあります。食費が高い、もっと削れるはずと簡単に言うけれど、余裕のなさゆえに食費が高くなってしまう場合もあるんです。
