私も使ったことありますが、バタバタ動きが激しいと、首浮き輪の上にお湯が入り、危険だと感じたのですぐに使用を中止しました。
乳幼児は大人よりも肺が小さく、血液量も少ないので、ほんのわずかな時間の溺水でも命取りになります。

演習する側(軍)は火器を使用するから安全のために演習区域に入るな(Navigation Prohibited)と設定するし、入ろうとする船舶に無線で直接警告もする。
民間船舶も被災したくないから当然避けるルートになる。
実際に火器を使用しようがしまいが使うかもしれないと言ってしまえばそこは通れない。

首浮き輪、便利そうだねと話しつつ、当時事故の報道がされていたので「絶対使えないね」と言ってた。まだ腰の座らない赤ちゃんが、お風呂であったかくしてご機嫌で待てるものがあるなら、使いたかった。毎日のことだから、ワンオペ風呂は本当に苦しく、大変で、まるで苦行のようだった。

関川村の水害のボランティアに行ってきたけどマジで想像以上に被害が大きい。米坂線は土砂崩れで運休。国道113号線は20分ごとに片側交互交通で渋滞してバスも運休。家や店が浸水して町に家具やゴミが溢れてる。県内限定で募集してるボランティアもまだまだ必要だと思う。帰ったら情報まとめます。
