And of 48 new cases confirmed outside #China yesterday, 40 were on board the #DiamondPrincess cruise ship quarantined in Yokohama.

New methodology appears to be meant to provide clearer definitions for medical workers. However, “asymptomatic” cases not incl. as “confirmed” (since “confirmed” is defined as test kit positive plus symptoms). That move reduced Hubei confirmed cases by 87 on Feb 8. #COVID19
