ただ、欧州人権裁判所の判例では引渡請求国で死刑判決を受ける場合が該当するのではなかったかと（ゼーリング事件等）。釈放される可能性がない終身刑だとそのような状況で死に近づくことが非人道的な取扱いとなるのだろうか。新たな展開があったのかもしれないが。

なお、最近はじまったオミクロン株対応ワクチンの発症予防効果は3回接種後14日～3ヶ月で80%、3～6ヶ月で48%とされています。従来のワクチンよりは少し良いようです。
