リンクした朝日の記事によれば、一橋大の高橋滋教授は、エネ法研を辞職して審査会委員に就任したとのこと。多分、これが最も世間的には判りやすいのだと思うが、辞職してしまうと、「今までの研究成果は電力会社の意向を受けている」と逆に妙な誤解を招いてしまう気がする。

思い出すのはNASAが2000年に落下させたコンプトンγ線天文台衛星。まだ科学観測運用中だったが、ジャイロが正常なうちに意図的に落とした。NASAの方針に反対した学者のジョーク：この発表のために来る人が交通事故で死ぬ確率のほうが、衛星を放置して落下で死人が出る確率より高い。
