日本は物凄く地学屋の地位が低い。でもチリやボリビアなど鉱物資源が卓越している国で「地学屋です」と言うと途端に尊敬される。日本で言う国会議員か弁護士かみたいな扱いになる。一方、災害大国の日本で地学屋の地位が低いのはなぜなんでしょう？学術と防災が上手くつながってなかったからでしょう。

@yoshisatose 自分ちで食べないのに測りたい、という人もいるかもしれないし。米子なら自家栽培の方が流通しているものより低い確率は高そうですし。被災地に近いところで活用すべきは同意ですが米子市の予算で被災地近くではありえないし。
