64bit版Chromeにしたらメチャクチャ早くなったぞ。もっと早く気付けばよかった。去年の9月から配布していたのか。もっと広報すればいいのに。というかOSを自動判別して最適なバージョンをインストールするようにしないのはなぜ。ほとんどの人が気付いていないと思う。

午後は鳥の調査をしてみようって行事。参加者各自に、これから取り組む鳥の調査計画を話してもらう。10人中、3人がスズメ、2人がツバメ。高い識別能力が求められず、家の近所で調査できるってことらしいが、身近な鳥に注目する傾向は歓迎。個体数を数えるだけではない調査が多いのも今年の特徴。
