今、奄美大島で話題になっている西古見のクルーズ船誘致問題について書いてみました。
言いたいのは、賛成派の人はお金儲けのためにクルーズ船を誘致しているんじゃないだろう、ってこと。賛成派も反対派も、どちらも子や孫に豊かな島を残したくて言ってることだと思う。

And of course my favorite is Sakura-jima, which essentially means Cherry Blossom island. However to confuse matters cherry blossom doesn’t seem to be the origin of the name plus it’s not an island anymore, after 1914 eruption lava flows connected it to mainland! twitter.com/simoncarn/stat...

あと、韓国や中国のメーカーは日本からエンジニアを引き抜いて云々説も多いけれど、それは10年以上昔の話で、今はあっちの方が技術力も開発力も上なんだから、技術コピーするのはむしろ日本側。ITでもLineは中国のWechatのコピーだしね。現実逃避して日本すごいに溺れてると国ごと下町ボブスレーだよ。

下町ボブスレー公式が保守速報をシェアしていたという話、全然驚かないというか、ありふれた日本人だね、と思う程度には、中韓を貶し日本を持ち上げる話法は、どこでも見る日本の風景になってしまったし、テレビにも雑誌にも、保守速報の差別デマと本質は変わらないようなコンテンツが並んでますよね。

@aeroevo @GreyGriffon @TetZoo There's good reason to think ornithocheiroids like Pteranodon had near erect habitual forelimb postures, too. This pose is tenable, but the elbow is adapted to deal with stresses in an upright limb, not a crouched or sprawled one.

@GreyGriffon That's pretty sweet. I don't think the wing membranes would do that though - fossils show that they contract to super-narrow when the wing-finger is folded, and the wing-finger (when folded) is virtually pressed against the side of the body.
