まぁ野良猫問題は日本で狂犬病発生したら即捕獲処分となって数が激減するだろうし、犬に関しても予防接種してない犬は処分対象になりますから。業者も一般も保護団体も関係なく一律に実行されますよ。発生して慌てて予防接種しようとしてもワクチンが足りないので無理。

That AD was still in the "proposed" phase. However, CFM had an active service bulletin to operators on the inspections. FAA estimated that 220 engines installed on U.S. registered airplanes would've been affected by the AD. Not clear yet how many inspections had been completed.

#WN1380, like thousands of 737s produced since 1995, uses a @CFM_engines CFM56-7 engine. (CFM is a partnership between @SAFRAN's @SafranEngines and @generalelectric's @GEAviation.) This is a longstanding and reliable engine, though there are similarities with #WN3472 in 2016.

As you can see, the engine cowling is missing from #WN1380, much as it was from #WN3472 in August 2016. Engines are designed and tested so that, when they fail, the failure is "contained" (not "uncontained") within the engine structure.
