まあ、トキ等の報道見ていると「例え人為的移植をする事になっても絶滅するよりはマシ」そう思ってしまう一般の方がぞろぞろ出てくることは無理のない話ではありますが、ことタナゴと言うか淡水生物に関しては放流無しの方向にした方が、かえって地方個体群レベルでの絶滅リスクは減ると思いますよ。

１、ミゾゴイの息が荒くかなり衰弱していて時間的猶予がない。２、一旦この場から離れた場合、カラスやノネコに襲撃される蓋然性がある。３、絡まっている網の部分を最小限切断しても、直ちにネットの役割を果たさなくなるような場所ではない。

なお、事後、宿泊してる宿のご主人を通じて所有者の方には報告をしていただいています。実際現場を見ていただいたおかみさんのお話では所有者の方をよく知っているし、穴は紐で縛っておけば問題ないとの事でした。

実質的に実行した２名のうち１名はバンディング経験者でもう一名は野鳥保護施設のボランティア経験者です。網を切る際には作業者が嘴で攻撃されないよう嘴を押さえ、眼を覆って落ち着かせながら作業しました。

さて、網を切ってミゾゴイを救出したのち、状態をチェックしてみると傷はありませんでしたが、だらんとして力がありませんでした。そこで、必要なのは暖かさ、水、糖分、タンパク質だろうということでブドウジュースを経口摂取させてみました。

嘴を強制的に開けても抵抗しないし、ほとんど吐いてしまうので危ないかなとおもったのですが、２回目はカロリーメイトを粉にして舌に乗せてジュースを少しずつ流し、のどをさすって確実に胃に落ちるようにしてみました。
