首里城から100ｍしか離れてない家に住んでる友達が、首里城正殿が燃えきって崩れ落ちる音が聞こえたと。
沖縄の人にとって首里城とはただの「復刻した城」ではない。日本唯一の地上戦の激戦地だった首里に再び城が出来た事は、県民の心に「戦争からの復興」と誇りを与えてくれたのだ。

今朝はいきなり首里城の炎上からの朝。戦国時代にまでタイムスリップしたかのような光景。浅井長政の領民は小谷城の落城をきっと呆然と見てたに違いない。そして、次に脳裏をかすめたのは、金閣寺炎上。形あるもの壊れるとはいえ、あまりにも無惨で悲しい。

自分に出来る事は何だろう、と朝からちむわさわさーしてたけど、まずは首里城の歴史に向き合ってみたい。

昨年の給付奨学金は駄目やったけど、新しい基準では頂けると信じて書類を出しに行ったら、郵便局の方に雑に扱われてちょっと辛かったです。
あちらにとっては今日も見飽きたただの封筒かもしれんけど、私にとっては高齢の遠く離れた両親と大学生活を支える大切な希望とも言える書類なのです。

首里森御嶽は琉球王国の御嶽の中でも最高聖地のひとつなので、助かったのは本当によかった。今でこそ小さな区画の中のわずかな木々だが、かつては首里城の山域が広大な森で、その首里森を核にして作った城が首里城なので、信仰上の核心部は無事だったというわけ

浄化槽の清掃員さんに浸水被害の話を聞いた。
浄化槽のフタは簡単に外れる構造では無いので、泥・石が入るのは稀だそう。
入ってしまった場合、バキュームで吸引出来ないので手作業での除去になる。(設備屋か自分で)。

台風時の対策、5年前より良くなってはいないか。2号もっとゆっくりして線量を下げてからでもよいのではないか＞5，6年前と比較するとだいぶ良くなっているが、露出した面に水が入ってもうまくはけなくて水位が上がった、予断を持たないで改善が必要。

熊本地震のニュース中継で崩れゆく熊本城の姿は、沖縄の人間ながら心が痛みました。
先日復元ドキュメント番組を見て、地元の方々の城に対する深い想いを感じたばかりでした。

地元のお城は戦災で全て焼けた
松下幸之助と市民の寄付が半分近く集まり、
戦後早くにRCで再建された
何かのセミナーでお城の話が出た時に、
「あの当時にこの規模のRC建築をあの山の上に、
多くの市民の寄付を元に再建した事は、
地域と近代の遺産ともいえる」
と語っていた方が居た
その通りだと思う
