野生かどうかとの記述があるが、蜂窩織炎は室内飼いのペットに噛まれても、充分に起きうる。
身近なペットの口の中は予想以上に汚く、噛まれた際には病院でしっかり診てもらうことが重要です。

ちなみに沖縄の紫外線や風雨は想定以上に強かったらしく、復元後わずか10数年で漆がボロボロになったそう。鳥瞰図に描かれた黒い首里城も経年劣化した外壁ではないか。(そもそも絵図が忠実な彩色だったかという議論も必要)
だから、復元した首里城では定期的に塗り直しを行い、朱色を保っていた。
