ひとつの仮説として、目的と結果が逆転しているのでは、と思いついた。「生き物を殺すことは罪だが、食べる（自分が生きる）ために殺すのはやむを得ないこととして許される」という思想はものすごく普遍的にありますよね。それが転じて「殺しても、食べれば許される」（気がする）ということかな。

これは前にも書いたことがあるんだけど。「シカをただ大量に殺して埋めるのは倫理に反するので、せめて肉を食べるべきだ」という意見。つい最近また聴いたのですよ。かなり普遍的な考え方らしい。私はこの思想の起源に興味があるんですよね。どこから来てるのか？なぜ食べると罪が減じると思うのか？

それは最終的に日本の患者さんを救うためのハードルが高くなるだけ。
海外へ出ちゃえば日本よりも制約の多くない研究環境に身を置けるのに（あの先生ならラボごと歓迎されるはず）、それをしないでおられるのは日本の患者さんを救ってあげたい、という思いが大きいのだと思う。

短絡的に考えれば、研究資金調達や研究者が置かれる研究環境の観点では海外へ出てしまうのが最善なのかもしれない。
しかし海外の研究機関に移籍し、そこでの研究活動から画期的な発明がされたとしても、知的財産権が設定され、日本でおいそれと使えない。

知り合いにも老犬倶楽部にも時々、前日までよく食べ元気に歩いてた超高齢犬が突然息を引き取る事があったが、元気に見えても限界だったんだなと思う。飼い主は心の準備もなく置いていかれた気持ちになるが、犬は自分が死ぬことすら気づかずに逝ったのだなと思うとこれ以上楽な最後はないのだろう。

ヘアドネーションも美容室を選ばないと大変なことになるんだなぁ。私がギリギリ35cm位でお願いしたお店は月一回まとめて送ってくれるお店だったから、個人宛て受領書は貰ってないけど、お店宛ての受領書がちゃんと掲示されてた。髪の毛を送る費用や手間はお店負担で、募金箱もあったよ。
