台風の中心がすぐ西側を通過して行ったため、普通なら、北寄りの風から徐々に東を経由して南寄りの風に変わっていくところ、台風の通過前は東、通過後は西と、かなりハッキリした偏りが見られました。

これはおそらく、観測所周辺の地形に影響されていると思われます。

また、9/7 午前1時の観測で風向が「北」になっています。この時刻は台風が通過した後で、本来なら南寄りの風が吹いているはずです。事実、周辺の観測所では全て南方向の風向が観測されています。

そして全般的に、台風がすぐ近くを通過して行ったにしては、風速があまり大きくなっていません。少し離れた鹿児島地方気象台での観測値の方が大きいくらいです（さすがに最大瞬間風速は中甑の方が上回っていますが、それでもその差はあまりない）。

中学に進み半ばあきらめた時模型雑誌に吉川俊明氏（後のアクティブギャルズ）の書いた記事で「異なる次元の積」、つまりモーメント（能率）の概念を知る。何かとても大事な鍵だと感じつつも阿呆な自分は積分の概念に進めない。今でも中学で微積の概念を知る機会は重要だと思うのは、この経験による。

「感染の届出をしたあとに、実際は違ってた/基準にあってなかったので取り下げる」ことはそこまで珍しくないです。
たとえば梅毒。昔々の感染を見てる数字を保健所に出す→データクリーニング作業の中で、某国対象でないですよーと連絡が来て取り下げとか。
