根室からはJR線で厚岸へ。前々から思っているのだが、街と街の間に長い無人地帯を挟むのが北海道では一般的。本州的以南ではここまでの無人地帯のほうが珍しいので毎度毎度慣れない。逆に非日常の雄大な景色を見る体験となる。逆に道民は無人地帯を挟まず人家が続く本州以南に慣れないのかもしれない。 pic.twitter.com/LGeRMnquIv
