1. This is horrifying. An Illinois man has died from #rabies, which is a terrible death. He awoke 1 day in mid-Aug to find a bat on his neck. The bat tested positive for rabies but the man REFUSED rabies therapy. What would possess a person to do that? Untreated rabies is fatal.

御蔵島村役場の職員がどんどん辞めて次々入れ替わっていくのは今に始まったことではないんだけど、私が前回御蔵で暮らしてた2002〜2011年は常に20人以上の職員数をキープしていたはずなんですよね。それが3年くらい前から急減して現在まさかの11人。
