目の前で人が事故で亡くなるのはショックの大きい出来事です。
自分がその人から「ボタン押して」と言われて緊急停止ボタンを押して間に合わなかったというショックはどれだけ大きいか。
その子の動揺やショックをケアする気遣いが全く感じられないニュース映像でした。

このグラフ、ミスリーディングだなぁ･･･と思いながら番組見てました。
世帯年収のボリュームゾーンが下がったのは高齢化の影響で、世代別に見ると1990年→2018年で大差ありません。
現役世代は300～400万円台、うち子育て世帯は500～700万円台が中流。

@0309crane 論文によるとですね、水につけると静水圧と表面張力によって空隙に水が引き込まれるのですが、その際にガスがトラップされて(こいつのせいでしばらく浮く)
時間が経つとやがて中のガスが水を伝って拡散されるため、何年もしてから突然沈むんですね(論文読んでほしい)(とんでもない押し付け)

This turns the uropatagia into very nice yaw generators. @TerrylWhitlatch has done a lovely version of Cryodrakon in this flight position. We created this version after @armanafzadeh published her pterosaur ROM work.

Birds stand with a flexed hip, so the flight position is only *additionally* flexed at the knee. The homologous posture for a pterosaur (i.e. same ROM from "neutral") is not tucked legs.

@gimpasaura Now, the phylogenetic position *does* matter, of course. But it’s more nuanced than “ornithodiran equals biped”. For example, as @armanafzadeh has brilliantly demonstrated, it matters for ligament assumptions and likely ROM. But a quad can still operate within these boundaries.

@gimpasaura Yeah… many. My overarching thought is that they’ve made too much of the ornithodiran position of pterosaurs here. Yes, Quetz is closer to a bird than a bat, phylogenetically. But a titanosaur is even closer to a bird, still. Which is to say, Quetz need not move like a bird.

About the Wellnhopterus/Javelinadactylus situation: the ICZN is explicit that advance online publications are not available publications (Art. 9.9), which the Javelinadactylus paper currently is. Wellnhopterus has priority since its paper has been published in its final form.
