Sentinel 1 is a SAR platform, which basically just takes a number of radar pictures of the ground and stitches them together.
Sentinel 2 is a traditional wide-swath high-resolution multispectral imager with 13 spectral bands.

An interesting note is the lack of P-8 flights today. The RC-135U was looking at the Lebanese coast instead; on the same path as she flew last December. (In the attached map, the blue path is today's HOMER69 and the purple path is December's HOMER11.)

I covered FORTE10's flight in yesterday's map, but it is worth noticing the similarity in location of the RQ-4 with the E-8C and RC-135W. With the distance it is flying from Kyiv, it's possible that this adjustment could be in response to nearby IADS.
