忘れてた。構造シミュレーションのトンボはセンサ計測のトンボとは違う種です。いわゆる赤とんぼ系の…日本語だとタイリクアカネ？Sympetrum striolatum です。その後翅だけ。今は更にリアルに改良した形状モデルを作成中です。

…というわけで、基本的には形態の記載的なものがメインで、調べた個体数もメチャ多いというわけではないけれど、uncharted regionに切り込んだおかげで、色々な考察だとか新たな仮説の提示だとか、わりとリッチな（←NeuroRadio風）結果が得られたのではないかなーと思います。

これは、長手方向のひずみ分布は概ね相似的であり、羽ばたきに伴ってその平均値が変動する（これが下段）ということのようです。
実世界に戻ると、もし飛行中に翅脈に分布するひずみセンサたちがこの「典型的な波形」からの変動を検知したら、それはたとえば突風で翅が変形したから、かもしれません。

それから、根本から遠いほど神経は太めになる傾向がありました。翼端に行くほど距離が長いぶん信号が遅く届くはずで、この太さの分布はもしかしたらその遅れを補償するためかも？という議論もしています（Fig. 5付近）。神経屋さんからはツッコまれるのかもだけど、まぁ議論盛り上がるといいのでは。

Tolya passed away nearly 10 years ago but I’ll never forget him. An ethnic Russian, he was born in Bashkiria and spoke a mixture of Bashkir and Tatar. He used to say it was an “obvious” thing to do. Frankly, he probably spoke it better than I do.

Here, I want to note that Bashkiria is extremely diverse. Rakhimov’s policies discriminated against all ethnic groups living in the republic. It was easier for Tatars due to language and cultural similarities. For Maries, Chuvashs, Ukrainians, Germans - not so much.
