いま琉球列島のウミガメ（アオウミガメ）は近年になく増加中なんですよね。巨大なウミガメが何匹も網にかかったとき、船の上から１匹ずつ、ぜんぶ健康に逃がすことはかなりの困難を伴う。大きいし、暴れる。昔のようにイリーガルに水揚げもできない。だったらこうするしかないということなのだと思う。 twitter.com/dennou319/stat...

先日久米島のウミガメ館に行ってきたばかり。
近年海洋プラスチックや釣り針などでウミガメの個体数が減っているなど色々学んできたんだけど、本当は観光客が行くんじゃなくて地元の大人が行くべきなんじゃなかろうか…🥺

結局のところ、漁師は漁師の都合でしか動かないし、絶滅危惧種とか生物多様性とか関係ないのだろうな。生活がかかっている以上しょうがないことなのかもわからんけども、海の恵みを獲って生活するという行為は、そうやって雑に扱っている生物多様性の上に成り立っているということも知るべきだよなあ。

日常的に私も、漁師さんが採って売ってくれた魚介類を食べているわけですが、その漁獲の中で売られることもなくただ死んでしまった魚介類はたくさんいることでしょう。漁業というのは基本的にそういうものですが、アオウミガメは絶滅危惧種でもあり、今回のは個体数も多く、再発防止が望まれます。

生き物を捕獲するという行為はどうしても目的外の生き物を殺してしまうことにつながります。私が調査で使う投網も、目的外の魚が刺さって死ぬことは少なくありません。今回のは事故的な採れ方だったのかもしれないですが、その後の処置をきちんとすべきだったのではないかと思います。

政治家は団体から支援を受けて政策を反映させるけど、経団連、労働組合、JA、色んな団体がいて、各団体はその規模に見合った支援を行い、支援は選挙に反映されて規模に見合った票が獲得される。自民党の支持率が30％だと総合して3600万人規模の団体の支援を受けることになるし、意見も反映する。

Really important point. How does Ukraine nullify Russia's artillery advantage? Its not easy but seems to involve the following steps.
1) destroy as many artillery depots and storage facilities as possible.
