先ほどBS日テレでも触れましたが、松野官房長官会見での「住民投票と称する行為」という言い方が素晴らしい。長ったらしいものの、こう言い続けることが重要。そうでないと、「住民投票」があたかも民意を聞く正当性を持ったものかのうような錯覚に。言葉は重要。

Perhaps a useful addition - mobilization & stop-loss might help Moscow stem the deteriorating quantity of the force, but not the deteriorating quality of the force & its morale. Having used up its best equipment, officers, & personnel, I don't see how this can be recovered.

昨日PBSアワーを見ていたら看板アンカーのジュディ・ウッドラフのインタビューにエルドアンが応じて、ロシアは領土を返還すべき云々と言うのでいたの驚いた。
穀物輸送、北欧2国のNATO加盟問題等々で、エルドアンは存在感を見せつけている。こういうのが外交の真髄だろう。

超望遠コンデジでの鳥撮りはレンズ交換式にくらべてコスパは断然いいし荷物は激減するしなにより軽い。デメリットは画質と即応性。特に後者は如何ともし難い。 まぁトレードオフですよね

今回のプーチン部分的動員演説で再び、これまで以上にあからさまな核恫喝。公式の核使用政策では「通常兵器での攻撃で国家の存立が脅かされる場合」となっているが、今回は「領土の一体性」が脅かされる場合。普通に我々が考える「国家の存立」を超えるもの。背筋が凍る思い。

更に、今回の演説では、西側指導者がロシアに対して核使用の恫喝を仕掛けていると事実に反する主張をしている（少なくとも自分は聞いたことがない）。これは単なるディスインフォメーションということだけでなく、ロシアの核使用に関する公式政策に合致させる試みもあるかもしれない。

今後西側が「核恫喝」をすれば（例えそれがロシアのやっているような侵略における核恫喝ではなく、ロシアが核使用すれば核報復するとの通常の核抑止のための威嚇であったとしても）、つまり、西側からの核抑止のための威嚇であっても核使用するぞという脅しのメッセージなのかもしれない。

これまでロシアが実際にやったことがある予備役動員訓練で最大だったのは昨年のBARS-2021(国家陸軍戦闘予備2021)で5万人くらい。過去の軍管区大演習は多くても5000-1万人くらいだが、これは「指標」なので実際にはその10倍くらいを招集する想定でロジ側が動いてはいたのだろう。

しかし30万人となると、ロシア軍には受け皿能力があるのかどうか。まあウクライナでさえ10万人規模の動員やってるのだからできなくはないのだろうし、できるからこの規模に設定したのだろう。とすると、冬から来春あたりまでにこれらの戦力がどのくらいモノになるかですぬ。
