学部の1、2年生の時に一人でファインマン物理学の英語版をコツコツと読んでいた。1、2巻を大体読んだが、今思うとこれがとても良かった。ファインマンは大量の言葉で物理を説明する。重要なのが数式の含んでいる物理であることが次第にわかってくる。この経験が研究者になって生きていると強く感じる。
