だいち3号の喪失感は、MTSATの喪失感に似ている。
最大の違いは、MTSATが失われたときにはまだGMS-5（ひまわり5号）があったけど、だいち3号の前号機はもうおらず、空白になってしまうこと。
気象観測が何とか続けられたのに対し、光学陸域観測は12年間途切れたまま、次がいつかも分からなくなった。

石の下のハブ。
石下を見る時は注意が必要です。
これはヒメハブですが、同じ状況でホンハブが出ることもあります。
中学生の頃、爬虫類図鑑でヒメハブの写真を見た時、太短いかっこいい体型に一目惚れで憧れのヘビでした。

@AtsukoHigashino VPNを使うと、EU圏内などに物理的に滞在されていても、チェック可能になります。私は別の理由でVPNを使い始めましたが、その結果としてスペイン在住でもアンドラやセルビア、日本などのアクセスポイントを使うことでアクセスできるようになりましたよ。
