以前はがんの患者さんに「ネット情報は危険なものが多いのでググらない方がいいです」と伝えていたが、今は「ネットで調べる時は国立がんセンター『がん情報サービス』をお使い下さい」と伝えている。
自分や家族の病気について調べずにはいられないと思うし、「調べ方」を伝えるのがベターかと思う。
