I use #julialang & am a huge fan of your work. Using tools like JuliaCall, I would think Julia may be a better fit than C++.

学校で習った公式にあてはめる、というやり方にこだわるのだとしても、2250メートルに換算して300で割る人が多いでしょうね。
立式してから分数のわり算のやり方を適用させる、というのは、学校の外の世界の常識から考えると、かなり異常なのだ。

What's the right plan of attack here? tl;dr, the pkg needs Julia et al. so I don't want it to run tests on CRAN, I used the commands to make it not, but apparently every 6 months it does anyways, but for pkg tests I want to test the auto-installer. #rstats thanks in advance.

The additional thing is, these all have a function diffeqr::diffeq_setup() which does this setup for you: "Note that the first invocation of diffeqr::diffeq_setup() will install both Julia and the required packages if they are missing." You can use a bool to turn off the install.

I replied with "Those are required for the package checks and they will fail without that dependency." This is a package that runs Julia's differential equation solvers from R: if you don't have Julia and don't have the differential equation solvers, it won't work.

The issue is in github.com/SciML/diffeqr. They state "You have SystemRequirements: Julia (>= 1.5), DifferentialEquations.jl, ModelingToolkit.jl, but it seems that these are not required for most of the package's
checks, which will attempt to install them. This needs clarifying."

@kado_judo0312 物理的には n! よりも log n! の方が観測量に直接関係するのですが、数値計算のときに、
超でかい数 / n!
のような計算をさせると Inf/Inf = NaN になって、NaN の嵐になることがよくあり、そういう場合には
exp(log(超でかい数) - log n!)
のように対数経由にするとよいです。

@kado_judo0312 でかいnに対する n! はスターリングの公式の補正を使えば小さな相対誤差で近似計算できます。
実はガンマ函数の数値計算はその方法を使っています。
統計力学でも本質的な役目を果たすスターリングの公式がこの場合も本質的！

#Jupyter nbextensionsの件はJuliaとは無関係です。
notebookなどのバージョンが新し過ぎるとnbextensionsをまともに使えなくなるようです。notebookやそれ以外の何かをバージョンダウンすればまともに使えるようになるかもしれません。

* f.(x)やx.^(0:d)'のようにドットをうまく使い、内包表記を無駄に使用しない。
* 多項式はevalpolyで評価できる。
