@takusansu @OokuboTact 文脈に合わせて式を読めるようになることは実用的に算数や数学を使うためには大事なことなので、算数教育界が「式を読む」という言い方で単純パターンマッチの非常識な読み方を教えていることに反対するべき。
「式を読む」は大事。しかし、算数教育界のスタイルはクズそのもの。

@takusansu @OokuboTact 算数教育界が「式を読む」に非常識な意味を付与していることが問題。
「2×8」は「2本足のタコが8匹いることを意味する」と読むことを教えるのは論外に非常識。
そのように教える先生にペナルティが課されるようになっても不思議ではないレベルでひどい。

@takusansu @OokuboTact タコ2匹の足の総数を求める文脈で「2×8」という式を見たら「2×8は2匹の8本足のタコの足の総数のつもりで書かれた式である」と解釈できるように式を読んで良いことを教えるのは大事だと思います。
常識的な意味での「式を読む」はこういう意味。常識は教える価値がある。

おお。まじでか。実効再生産数はともかく、Epidemic時の予防可能疾患のR0は本質的に推定がすごく難しいんですよね。今回は過分散もすごくあるから平均値は変動しやすい。。どういう理由か調べておこう。単に掛け算前の従来株2.5の替わりに4.0だから8から9とか言ってたりして。

@keno_ss すいません、@genkuroki さんにご指摘頂き、2つの手法で標準偏差および標準誤差が異なっている事を考慮していませんでした。どちらの標準偏差も2項分布を考えれば出すことができて、その比は1:2ではなく1:1.66 程度だそうです。誤差半分まではいかないようですね。

「理論的な正確な値」を紙とペンで求めることも得意だとコンピュータでの計算でも結構得です。
「理論的な正確な値」が分かっている場合は、精度やバグの有無のチェックに使えます。
論理的な誤りなのか、コーディングのミスなにか、丸め誤差などが原因の問題なのかがすぐに分からない場合がある。

This came from my last thread on Sperner's lemma. Sperner's lemma focuses on a special case, where each edge of the big triangle has only two colors. The lemma claims that there will be a small triangle with all three colors. See that thread for a surprising topological proof.

そもそも大学の学位の有無で、（年収はともかく）健康で文化的な生活を営めるか否かに格差が生じる状況があるとして、だから大学は入試で積極的是正措置を用いて高等教育を受ける層を拡大すべきという議論には懸念も多い。むしろ学位がなくても健康で文化的な生活を営める社会制度を目指すべきでは。
